Skiggety sketch

Sup, dweebs? Hurr's a little
skizzetch of good ol' Tom Waits.

Finna get a lil experimental in here.

That's the name of one of his songs.
I dig it mostly because it's a pun. The
guy's name can be used as a pun.

Lucky bastard.

Jam!!

Howdy, yella-bellies. Back on track with another episode
of "Here's Some Art I Forgot to Post From Ringling, you
know, Back When I Was a College Student."

Enjoy, blockheads.

The cowboy in the light was made in Z-Brush, as well
as the leg and diaper-area of the darker one. The rest
is done in Photoshop.

Reese's Thesis

Alright, kids, gather 'round, gather 'round.

This is probably the last post I'll make as a Ringling College of Art and Design student.
Here's the thesis project I've been working on for the last semester; it's just a big
ol' collection of three characters, each with their own three feature illustrations.

The Detective
He's a hard-nosed, cigar-smokin', gun-totin' badass who
lives by his own rules and all that jazz. PA-POW

Spacebabe
She's a babe who annihilates aliens for a living. I think.
Also, she lives in space.

[alliterate name] the Rhino
This poor sap can't do much of anything correctly.
From putting on a T-shirt to riding a bike, this fella
tends to have a rough day most of the time.

Ringling, it's been real. It's be REALLY real.
I'm going to miss some of you.

Not all, though, so don't get carried away.

PEACE

I'm here...you can start the party.

Ok, simpletons, sorry I took my sweet time, but I'm showing you some new stuff.
Some REAL new stuff. Check it out.

Long-story-short, this little fella is a character in my thesis (which
is going to essentially be a collection of unrelated characters
featured in a series of their own respective illustrations). I haven't
really designated a name to him, but I know who he's
supposed to be.

And here he is in action.

Done digitally over a pencil drawing, as per usual.
Ders is looking like garbage, as per usual.

Experimenting with saturation

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE.

You guys thought I was done? Gimme a break.
BEG FOR YOUR FACE, LONDON

First try with ZBRUSH, this banging' 3D Modeling program.
While not supposed to definitely b a model of my aforementioned
character, it was obviously heavily inspired by his mug.

Also, here's a little work-in-progress.
